Welcome to Boston (Summer Street)
Steps from downtown but miles from ordinary, the Innovation District on Boston’s waterfront is pulsing with energy from the steady transformation of historic 20th Century warehouses into lofts and offices and the development of Seaport Square, 23 acres of new development that includes high rise residential towers and commercial buildings.
Our office is at the nexus of this activity, and we played an active role in redeveloping this incredible neighborhood we call home. Beginning with the 100 Acres Master Plan, where we reimagined an underutilized area of the city as a vibrant mixed-use district, we have transformed and activated the neighborhood with projects like the conversion of a 1904 warehouse at 311 Summer Street into our office.
Across the region, we design urban spaces, buildings, and interiors for a range of human needs and experiences, from Cambridge Discovery Park, a new corporate campus sensitively sited within the urban wild of Alewife Reservation, to The Heights, a new luxury apartment building in Brooklyn’s Washington Heights. In every case, our goal is to collaborate with clients to improve the built environment with buildings and place-making strategies that enhance people’s daily lives and add value to communities.
