As deputy transportation manager for our Kentucky offices, Brian bridges the gap between transportation planning and roadway design. A transportation engineer for more than 15 years, he has experience working on a wide range of transportation projects across the country. His areas of expertise include transportation planning, transportation system design and operations, public involvement, and access management.
Brian was one of the engineers who helped design Kentucky’s first operational double crossover diamond (DCD) interchange at US 68 and New Circle Road in Lexington. Due to the success of this project and others, he has been invited to speak at numerous conferences about successful DCD design. For the past two years, he has been a volunteer helping teach the Capstone Design course for senior civil engineering students at the University of Kentucky.
