Vice President, Regional Marketing and Communications

After 14 years with Stantec, Kim is responsible for marketing and communications for our regional marketing teams across the company. Her focus? Instilling our brand within local communities. That means pursuing market strategies and community engagement opportunities that will embed our brand wherever we work and in whatever we’re doing.

When developing and supporting our marketing and communications teams, Kim looks for people who will help set Stantec apart in the marketplace. Creative and determined minds who contribute to making us an employer of choice and a partner of choice for our clients. A large part of her job also includes welcoming new colleagues through acquisition—introducing them to our culture and people and helping them through a new, pretty intense, journey.

Over the last four years, Kim has spearheaded our partnership with the Tampa Bay Lightning, a community-focused engagement program that includes awarding STEM scholarships to young kids that come from at risk environments. “This is what it feels like to be involved in your community,” Kim said. “We’re engaging the younger generation, really letting them know that they have a chance, a future—and that STEM can be a pretty cool career.” Kim was also accepted to the state of Florida and Hillsborough County’s Take Stock in Children program, and will be volunteering as a mentor outside of work in the fall.

A passionate follower of interior design and real estate, Kim and her husband have recently bought a new home that they’re decorating, landscaping, and redesigning. When they’re not working on their house, they might be touring old car and truck shows in Florida in their classic 1960 Chevy Apache.
