Environmental services are complex and multi-faceted, requiring a wide range of skill sets. Angie thrives on this complexity. Her abilities, along with her love for the outdoors, make her the ideal person for the job. She started out as an environmental scientist with Stantec more than 11 years ago, providing environmental assessment and regulatory planning and permitting expertise on projects across Alberta. Her leadership skills and the way she connects with her team led her to take on new challenges. She’s now heading a group of environmental scientists that can complete a multitude of projects for a broad range of clients. One example is the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo City Centre Waterfront Redevelopment project, one of the biggest and most complex regulatory jobs in an urban area.
Angie balances her busy work life with her love for the outdoors and the quiet solitude of the countryside. She has four horses and enjoys horseback riding, hiking, camping, and hunting
