Reinvestment is one of Jared’s favorite accomplishments. In more than 15 years of work, Jared is most proud of the projects that create vibrant uses out of areas that were in decline. A project designer and planner, Jared has typically worked in urban design, redevelopment, and public places.
Recently, Jared has focused his sights more on design guidelines and grant writing. He works to identify needs, find funding, and then get the work done. Mostly he’s working in corridor and neighborhood reinvestment, in older inner city thoroughfares.
The director of his town’s merchant’s association, Jared has made it his mission to positively impact the financial success of many local businesses. He’s also a writer, and he’s publishing a book this fall that explores the history, styles, and stories of South Florida residential architecture since the early 1900s.
