Bernadette is an environmental project manager and senior biologist. She has over 12 years of experience in the United States and Latin America, managing environmental planning and permitting efforts on a wide array of large- and small-scale infrastructure and conservation projects. She specializes in California environmental permitting and consultations with agencies such as California Regional Water Quality Control Board, CDFG, and California Coastal Commission (CCC), and local government representatives.
Well-versed in regulatory guidelines on both a national level: the Clean Water Acts 401 and 404, and Federal Endangered Species Act Section 7 and 10 permitting, and throughout the Western US: NEPA, CEQA, CEQA-Plus and USDA Federal Cross Cutting, she has secured permits and Streambed Alteration Agreements for over 275 stream crossings. This has resulted in strong working relationships with the US Fish & Wildlife Service, National Marine Fisheries Service, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
