Mike has 30 years of experience in assessment and remediation of large-scale, complicated sites across the Atlantic Provinces and Canada. The majority of these projects involve brownfield sites such as Goose Bay, the Sydney Tar Ponds, and northern Distant Early Warning Line sites.
One of Mike’s fields of specialty includes assessment and remediation of contaminated sediments for marine and freshwater habitats. Mike provides core senior support for the Stantec emergency response projects across Canada.
To support his local community, Mike sits on the board of directors for St. Paul’s Home, which has provided housing and support for youth at risk for 150 years. When he’s not in the office, you can find him playing solo horn in the Chester Brass Band, as well as banjo for Dixie and bluegrass bands.
