Charline is passionate about buildings and sustainability. She has been since an early age; her father was a contractor and her grandfather a master carpenter who ingrained into her the importance of sound and lasting structures. Starting her career as an architectural technologist was a natural progression, and after more than 20 years of experience in Moncton, Halifax, and Bermuda Charline joined our team in 2010.
One thing has been constant in Charline’s journey; she’s always lived and worked near the water. Growing up in a small fishing village Cap-Pele New Brunswick and living close to the ocean, being aware of and preserving her natural surroundings was a necessity. Naturally, when Charline returned to Halifax working with sustainable design and helping clients achieve their environmental goals became her #1 priority.
In her spare time, Charline continues to pursue her interest in sustainability. She is presently involved with the national CaGBC as a faculty member providing LEED courses in Atlantic Canada, a CaGBC LEED Reviewer, and a TAG (Technical Advisory Group) member for Atlantic on Regional Priority Credits. Locally she has been a CaGBC Atlantic board member since 2010 and now vice-chair and chair of CaGBC BuildGreen Atlantic.
