Sylvie has been working in the environmental assessment field for more than 25 years, and is Discipline Leader for environmental studies and permits. With her vast experience, she has developed solid skills in conducting environmental studies, both in Quebec and abroad. Sylvie has participated in projects involving various transportation infrastructures, as well as land use development for industrial, commercial, and residential purposes.
Her mandates have led her to work for many municipalities, Aboriginal communities, government departments, and private sector partners. Clients have regularly drawn upon her wide knowledge of key provincial and federal environmental legislation.
Eager to take part in multidisciplinary projects that allow her to meet numerous challenges, Sylvie successfully accompanies stakeholders in understanding and approaching environmental issues. Furthermore, her skills, knowledge, and contribution facilitate the obtaining of financing and construction permits.
Of note, she conducted the environmental assessment for the new Champlain Bridge construction project, and led the environmental mandate for the extension of the Montreal Metro’s blue line.
Sylvie has been involved in the Quebec Association for Impact Assessment (AQÉI) since 1998.
