René stands out thanks to his keen technical skills in designing highly energy-efficient mechanical systems, and has a talent for complex problem solving. He always monitors the technical quality of all his projects, while striving to create innovative solutions that fulfill clients’ expectations.
With his vast building mechanicals expertise, he offers continuous training in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for all of Stantec’s offices across Quebec. He has even given a number of courses within the company on behalf of various clients.
René’s achievements include being designated senior mechanical designer on the Varennes Library project, which yielded the first institutional building in Canada to produce as much energy as it consumes.
