Emily is a registered landscape architect and our discipline leader for the landscape architecture practice in British Columbia. She has over 12 years of experience in design, project management, and contract administration for complex, multi-disciplinary projects across Canada, and she’s currently working with the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority to improve the Lower Causeway in downtown Victoria, BC—one of Canada’s most prominent waterfront public spaces.
Emily uses her skills in urban design and her knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and landscape ecology to create sustainable, attractive public realms that stand the test of time.
When it comes to her personal endeavors, Emily loves diversity—she’s a musician, an athlete, and a devoted traveler. Her varied passions all came to the fore on a recent trip to Japan, where she skied in Niseko, experienced the artistry and spirituality of the Fushimi temple in Kyoto, and ate strange and wonderful seafood dishes on the coast of Hakodate.
