Mark’s design and construction projects have expanded the connectivity of Nevada’s communities. He spent 30 years with the Nevada Department of Transportation as chief bridge engineer, administering Nevada’s bridge program, and chief construction engineer, overseeing construction administration. He’s overseen projects as large as $440 million and provides clients with creative and constructible ideas to ensure infrastructure projects are designed to last.
His most rewarding project was the Las Vegas US 95/I-15 interchange—the highest cost NDOT project at that time and first in Nevada to involve segmental bridge construction. It was challenging, but completed on time and under budget. Most importantly, it was well received by the travelling public. Working with a large, collaborative team made its success even more rewarding for Mark.
In his free time, you’ll find Mark seizing the great outdoors—he loves camping, hiking, snow skiing, and water skiing with his family.
