With 19 years of structural engineering and project management experience in inspection, analysis, rehabilitation, and design of roadway, transit, and railroad structures and facilities, Leo has successfully completed projects for both local and out-of-state public and private agencies.
One of his projects of note was the rehabilitation of the historic High Bridge, the oldest extant bridge in New York City that serves as a footbridge to connect upper Manhattan and the Bronx. Leo also manages the IDIQ contract for NYCT Sandy Resiliency Repairs. Two task orders won under this contract include the St. George Interlocking Construction Management Project and the 9 Stations Flood Mitigation Project.
More recently, Leo has been working as the department head for the structural group of the New York Office and the account manager for MTA Long Island Rail Road. His favorite part of New York City is Central Park—as a marathoner and triathlete, Central Park offers miles and miles of opportunities for training and a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of city streets.
