Dave brings more than 40 years of experience including 25 years overseeing planning, design, and construction projects for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD), ranging from $50,000 to $120 million.
He’s prepared and implemented schedules and budgets and successfully led projects involving interagency and municipal coordination, as well as interacting with the general public. David is experienced in writing MMSD grant proposals for non-profit foundations, state agencies, and the federal agencies that have totaled approximately $8 million dollars for water resource protection, acquisition of flood prone structures, flood management preliminary engineering studies, and construction of flood mitigation projects.
Dave recently received the Jerry Louthain Distinguished Service Award, the highest award given by the Association of State Floodplain Managers (AFSPM). The award recognizes individuals who, through their long-term efforts, have clearly influenced the work of the association.
