Dwayne has been involved in many professional and volunteer organizations over his career including the Regina Engineering Society Executive, Consulting Engineers of Saskatchewan Executive, Western Canada Water, Hockey Regina, the Knights of Columbus and his church. He is currently President of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. He is a strong believer of looking at the bigger picture; it’s not just about the client, but the stakeholders and community. “A project that has a balanced design is won on many levels,” he says. The Mike Badham Park Stormwater Detention Facility is one of his most successful public consultation projects. The public was so happy with the end product that a thank you BBQ was held in honor of all the parties involved.
Dwayne does not take his blessing of a loving family for granted; for many years he has sponsored a child through World Vision. Providing children the opportunity to succeed is important to Dwayne.
