Allison does not shy away from complex situations; with her strong oral and written communication skills, she gets the job done. To her, whether it’s a small, specialized project or a large project where she’s working with multiple disciplines, each one has wins and challenges. She believes a project team must work together to solve these challenges. “We are one community and we have a responsibility to respect and care for one another and our planet,” she says.
Allison loves Regina’s Wascana Park. “It feels like a little vacation every time I go there – the beautiful Legislative building, historic Albert Street Memorial Bridge, and the network of pathways that connect the city from one end to the other.” Allison recently traveled to South Africa and visited the Cradle of Humankind where some of man’s earliest ancestors have been found. The experience will be an ongoing reminder of how connected we all are as species.
