Jean has successfully carried through numerous contracts related to traffic management studies, as well as opportunity and feasibility studies on behalf of transportation organizing authorities. He has developed solid experience in the public transportation field, both in Canada and abroad, especially in Algeria, the United Arab Emirates, and Senegal.
At ease in multidisciplinary settings entailing socio-economic issues, among other challenges, Jean has participated in various large-scale projects in the Montreal area. In fact, as one of his accomplishments, he led the impact studies for the extension of lines 4 (yellow) and 5 (blue) of the Montreal metro.
Aware of demographic trends and changes that generate an increase in travel, which will shape the cities of tomorrow, Jean has been working with his team to develop methodologies and planning tools to assist organizations in developing more efficient transportation networks.
Jean is very active in his community and currently sits on the Board of Roslyn Elementary School in Montreal. He also supports other agencies whose mission is to provide equal opportunities to children, both locally and in other regions, while contributing to their development.
