Working on projects in the New York City area has exposed Toby to a variety of unique situations that he would not have seen anywhere else in the country. For example, investigating water infiltration at the United Nations, providing security bollards to key financial and government buildings, or developing roadways plans to service 1 World Trade Center (Freedom Tower) and the National September 11th Memorial and Museum in lower Manhattan.
Toby has expertise in every aspect of civil engineering design, in addition to possessing the exceptional ability to work with the various public and private stakeholders, elected officials, and concerned citizens. He is currently the practice lead of the urban infrastructure department in NYC. Toby has been the project manager / principal-in-charge on some of the firm’s largest projects, involving coordination of staff from various disciplines, and he is known for providing clients with quality, on-time and on-budget performance.
