Wetlands and rare species can add big challenges to projects. I navigate projects through the weeds so our clients don’t get bogged down.

Simon Hildt

Project Manager

Northampton, Massachusetts

Simon loves to bike to work through his city’s historic downtown; with its rich culture of music and arts and eclectic people – it inspires him. Though his work takes him across the region, he is centered in the community he calls home.

As a project manager, Simon has nine years of consulting experience focused in natural resource assessments and permitting. Based in southern New England, he conducts wetland delineations, environmental permitting, and compliance monitoring for public infrastructure improvements, private ventures, and utility construction projects.

Before shifting to professional consulting, Simon spent time conducting botanical research in Puerto Rico’s Caribbean National Forest, and invasive plant surveys in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks in California. He’s seen and done a lot, and he applies that global perspective to his work, while keeping his main goal in mind: to do what’s best for the communities he serves.
