As a Florida native with more than 32 years of experience in aquatic biology and ecology, Mike has a firm understanding of the profound changes that have occurred in the Florida environment over the past five decades. He knows how to manage multi-disciplined project teams and deal with the complexities of environmental conservation and regulatory permitting. A seasoned professional, Mike has served as lead ecologist on design-build projects and routinely manages his own environmental permitting projects.
Over the course of his career, Mike has worked with a wide range of government, tribal, and private clients while mapping, assessing, and monitoring project sites covering over 250,000 acres of central and south Florida. He is well versed in delineating state and federal wetlands, federal dredge and fill permitting, state environmental resource permitting, designing and implementing water quality monitoring plans, conducting environmental assessments, and permitting intra-coastal dredging projects.
