With over a decade of experience, Geri knows the value of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) when it comes cultural resources and archaeology. As crew chief, she creates GIS maps and performs site analyses to lead her team out of Laurel, Maryland.
Geri is inspired by helping the community strive and by showcasing lost archaeology history. She has worked on several projects to renovate schools, parks, and roadways, including the George Washington Memorial Parkway Rehabilitation Project. Not only did Geri contribute to improving GWMP for millions of visitors each year, but she was commended by the Division of Historic Resources for her communicative efficiency and professionalism.
With a master’s degree in anthropology, Geri also serves as our lead for Native American artifact analysis, performing excavations on projects throughout the United States. Outside of work, she enjoys running, gardening, rock climbing, cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and visiting Annapolis or Ellicott City on the weekends.
