An expert at guiding projects through environmental permitting hurdles, Amy has worked in several states on local, state, and federal level permitting as well as National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) permitting and coordination.
Amy has led several large climate change projects for transportation agencies including the State Highway Administration, the Maryland Department of Transportation, and Amtrak. With her experience, she’s familiar with the main data sources and assessment tools (CMIP, Hazus, and VAST) that are used to evaluate and prioritize transportation assets.
As a professional wetland scientist Amy is skilled at determining wetland jurisdiction and assessing, designing, permitting, and monitoring wetland mitigation areas. With over 14 years of experience in wetland, terrestrial, and marine ecology projects, Amy helps clients realize their goals with her understanding of the regulatory landscape.
