Henrik is a geotechnical engineer with over 22 years of experience in industrial, commercial, residential, infrastructure, and marine projects. He’s also our regional technical lead in Western Canada directing and ensuring a uniform and standard approach to the quality of our Canadian geotechnical practice.
Recently, Henrik was able to really exercise our local presence and global reach on the Zeballos Lake project on Vancouver Island. Our teams had to develop mitigation measures to address a leaky lake, and the project’s unique challenges required input from many different disciplines. The eventual solution was a team effort by people in offices all throughout North America.
When Henrik isn’t working on solutions for our clients or ensuring that we meet revenue targets, he spends his free time on physical activities. Besides skiing, exercising, and playing hockey, Henrik coaches youth sports—which he finds immensely rewarding, contributing to the athletic and personal development of the next generation.
