My two passions – sports and design – intersect on the field of play. Whether it’s a community centre or Olympic Stadium it’s game on.

Kyle J. Morphy

Architect

Winnipeg, Manitoba

Kyle offers clients experience in a variety of building types from large scale stadia, convention centres, aquatic centres, urban planning and public space development, elite sports training venues and community multi-use centres. Whether it is an international competition, master planning assignment, landscape design, building conceptualization and visioning, brand activation or stadium and arena seating bowl and sightline planning, Kyle leverages his passion for sports to create environments that celebrate the spirit of competition.

Kyle’s recent work includes the design of the main stadium for the 2014 Asian Games in Korea, the Olympic Park Tennis Centre in Melbourne Australia, the Datong Sports Park in China, the Fieldhouse at the Jonathan Toews Community Centre and the vision for the Selkirk Sports Park in Manitoba.

When he’s not at work, you can find Kyle honing his skills on the volleyball court, in search of the perfect espresso, in a seat at the nearest big sporting event or out for a late night run around the neighbourhood.
