With over 45 years of geotechnical construction-field experience, James knows about problematic soils. As a senior geotechnical technician, he mainly works on field soil, rock cut, and fill inspection work. He also conducts site investigation work including test pit and borehole logging work, making sure to mentor new engineers and technicians along the way.
Over a decade ago, James served as the lead inspector on the original 200-acre Dartmouth Crossing commercial park. Last year, work began on a 100-acre expansion for Dartmouth Crossing, and again, James has been called on to serve as lead inspector.
Outside of work, James spends most of his time on home projects. A bit of a gearhead, he’s usually the one his wife or his friends call for help when it comes to vehicles.
