Jeff mostly works on stream restoration projects, performing field surveys and technical analysis involving hydrology, hydraulics, fluvial geomorphology, aquatic habitat, sediment transport, and river regulation.
Drawing from his background studying the physical constraints which govern aquatic habitats, Jeff has a valuable role in performing eco-hydraulic analysis and coordinating with aquatic biologists on projects that require both engineering and biological expertise.
Jeff’s interest in all things water and fish-related extends beyond his professional life. He’s a passionate fisherman and outdoorsman, and he enjoys exploring the lakes and rivers of central and northern Ontario in his spare time. He volunteers as the Lake Steward for his cottagers’ association and assists in training the University of Waterloo Warriors varsity squash team.
