The key to my success has been to remain passionate that my ideas will better the company.

Brendan Mullins

Los Angeles, California

Brendan loves blending research and project work. As an architectural designer, Brendan is currently responsible for design, documentation, and delivery of the exterior shell for the San Ysidro Land Port of Entry project in California, but as an innovator, Brendan is also leading a companywide research and development grant exploring how we can integrate virtual reality (VR) into our design practice.

Working to marry his R&D and project work, Brendan frequently uses VR on active projects. In the case of San Ysidro, Brendan is using VR to share the design with our clients. This border crossing divides San Ysidro and Tijuana, and it’s the most trafficked border in the world.

Brendan has also worked as a designer on the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Building (Cleveland, Ohio) and on the Hamad Medical City Master Plan (Doha, Qatar). He volunteers in the ACE Mentor program, guiding students to careers in our industry, and he enjoys photography, fly fishing, and playing the guitar.
