Mary brings 21 years of environmental consulting experience and a focus on environmental assessment and aquatic environmental effects monitoring (EEM) for industrial, commercial, institutional, municipal, and infrastructure clients. At Stantec since 1996, she has led projects with a broad range of terrestrial and aquatic field activities.
Mary is the freshwater service area lead for Atlantic Canada and the mining sector lead for environmental services in Atlantic Canada. With an active interest in research partnerships, such as with the University of Guelph on a DNA bar-coding project linked with EEM studies, Mary is focused on providing added value to clients. She keeps engaged with the aquatic toxicity research community through regular participation in the Aquatic Toxicity Workshop held annually in Canada.
Mary lives in Fredericton with her husband Eric, three kids, and a greyhound. She loves outdoor activities and getaways.
