Gordon has spent most of the past 35 years managing the planning, design, and construction of a wide variety of transportation infrastructure development projects including highways and municipal roads, site developments, transit facilities, and airports. He has a reputation for being able to manage large and small projects under aggressive schedules, coordinating interdisciplinary engineering resources to produce a quality product and service, while achieving cost effectiveness and meeting project objectives. Gordon has often been called upon to manage "cold-start" and "turnaround" projects and situations that require substantial determination, and excellent resource and project management skills.
Managing these projects isn’t just knowing transportation—you need the peripherals too. Regulations, finance, law, urban planning, and public consultation.
