A frequent visitor to his local farmer’s market in the summer months, Dan tries to experience each New England season while it lasts. A dedicated outdoorsman, he’s a project manager and certified wildlife biologist involved in all sorts of wildlife assessment work, from wildlife population and habitat studies, to vernal pool and wetland surveys, to natural resource assessments.
Dan’s understanding of the environment and regulatory compliance gives him particular expertise in permitting, agency consultation, and natural resource construction compliance monitoring. His work on rare species assessments to address regulatory compliance helps clients avoid, minimize, and mitigate impacts to rare species and stay compliant with regulations.
Some of Dan’s most challenging work has included team lead duties, project management, and field surveys during emergency spill responses in the US and Canada. Dan has supported the US and Canadian Emergency Response teams with natural resource characterization, wildlife capture and rehabilitation support, and natural resource management advising during response planning and cleanup activities.
