When projects suffer from lack of funding, Meredith helps communities identify grants and low-interest loans that can move projects forward. Her particular expertise includes water, wastewater, stormwater, brownfield, renewable energy, and economic development grant applications. She most often works with public municipalities and Alaska native corporations and tribes.
Meredith works with Stantec technical staff to understand the complex topics and specific technical details important to grant applications. She then synthesizes that information into simple and straightforward grant narratives that resonate with the funding agency’s goals.
Recently, our client, Tanana Chiefs Conference (a tribal consortium of 42 villages), was so pleased with Meredith’s grant writing services, they asked her to participate in strategic planning to improve project development in their villages.
In the last two years, Meredith has secured over $6M with another $15M pending award. When she’s not working, she gets into the backcountry for long distance mountain bike rides and races—representing our company with a Stantec jersey.
