Joe is experienced in large multidiscipline projects involving municipal utilities, stormwater management, and street reconstruction projects. His main responsibilities for these projects include project utility and roadway design, oversight of plan and specification preparation, and communications with city staff, agencies, and public stakeholders. Joe utilizes these skills while acting as City Engineer in a number of communities in SE Minnesota.
Recently, Joe has served as the project manager for the design of Badger Hills Drive NW in Rochester, MN. This $5.2 million project included approximately 0.75 miles of concrete pavement, three roundabouts, bituminous trails, street lighting, a traffic signal, landscaping and utility improvements. Joe also worked on the Oronoco Dam Removal and Zumbro River Restoration, the 55th Street and 41st Avenue Reconstruct in Rochester and Kenyon 2013 Sanitary Sewer Improvements.
