As designers, the most important thing we can do is listen. It’s our job to take the hopes and desires of our clients and manifest them as inspiring built environments.

Justin Perdue

Toronto, Ontario

Colleges and universities are teaching the next generation of leaders and conducting leading-edge research. As a designer working in the education sector, Justin is proud to be creating world-class spaces for these important clients. He’s passionate about his work and truly enjoys learning about the unique institutional culture of each client, exploring the needs of faculty, staff, and students to create a design that supports and inspires.

The built environment enhances people’s lives, and for Justin, that means his passion for design has a direct effect on tomorrow’s great thinkers. This belief was perfectly in tune with our client’s needs on one of Justin’s recent projects, the Bruce Power Learning Centre. There, the focus was on improving the variation of space types to accommodate the culture of a new generation of worker in an open, collaborative, and supportive professional environment.

When Justin isn’t designing, he’s probably focused on basketball. He plays it, watches it, and reads about it. His dream improvement to his office space would be a hoop on the roof, but that might sacrifice some of his productivity.
