For Nick, technical prowess in all we do is key; knowing our practice inside and out is the best way to build strong relationships. With his over 30 years of experience in the socio-economic and environmental fields in Northern Canada, he has worked on a variety of mining projects from coast to coast.
When Nick was the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Mines and Small Business, he developed a keen understanding of the challenges faced by miners. Later, as a board member of United Keno Kill Mines Ltd. (UKE:TSE) and a consultant to numerous mining companies, he refined his understanding of how to make mining work from exploration through to production, decommissioning, and closure.
Nick can’t imagine doing anything else, but if he had to choose another profession he could see himself as a detective. You can usually find him enjoying a good mystery novel while en route to our project sites across Canada.
