Leading a conveyance team on water and sewer projects, Francis is driven by a philosophy to deliver the best outcomes for his clients and the community. He thrives on solving problems for unique and challenging projects. For the Nose Creek sanitary trunk sewer project, he helped design 4.2 km of large diameter pipe in an environmentally sensitive area and a tunnel through an inactive landfill. For the 210th Avenue trunk utilities project, he focused on minimizing the impacts of a crossing of the Bow River through a triple bottom line analysis.
For Francis, every day is different. From undertaking senior reviews to project management and design work, Francis enjoys the variety of his role. A keen fly fisherman, he loves the outdoor life. The Bow River provides what Francis calls, “a secluded oasis in the city.”
