Emree Siaroff

Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

Emree’s job is to make sure that our organization focuses on having the best talent in the industry, and that those people want to be a part of Stantec—to stay and learn and grow. As the senior vice president of Human Resources and chief human resources officer, Emree is accountable for all the human resources functions within Stantec. He provides strategic leadership, vision, and direction. Their goal? To enable the business.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario, Emree has over 20 years of domestic and international experience as both a practitioner and leader in the retail, commodities, manufacturing, and professional services industries. Recently, he and his team have been focused on understanding the drivers that affect employee engagement at Stantec.

Using the engagement survey, they are focused on getting a really good sense of  what make people want to be part of Stantec—and to make sure that we’re firing on all cylinders in those areas. They’ve developed a redesigned and improved employee survey that is more robust and gathers more analytics. With the results, Emree plans to further reinforce what makes Stantec a magnetic place to work.

An active member in his community, Emree has been involved in opportunities for homeless youth and is a member of the advisory committee for the Mining Industry Human Resources Council. Currently, Emree is an acting board member for the Canadian Employee Relocation Council.
