Kip’s goal is to develop value-engineered solutions that innovate through collaboration. He believes that a passion for design is contagious, and that the best reward is to see the whole team share enthusiasm—delivering the best projects, for the best clients, with the best people. A senior associate on our British Columbia transportation team, Kip also manages the local structural group as the bridge team lead.
Recently, Kip worked as the overall project assistant design manager and engineer of record for bridge structures on North Vancouver’s award-winning Low Level Road. He followed the project from the proposal stage in 2011 through design and public consultation in 2012 to construction completion in 2015. “It’s been an honor and a privilege working with such a knowledgeable and talented design team,” he says.
When he’s not at work, Kip spends his free time hiking and snow shoeing with family and friends, enjoying the great outdoors. He also skis, surfs, plays tennis, golfs, and plays beer-league hockey.
