Jack is an architect, project manager, and team leader with over 30 years of experience. His specialties include healthcare and wellness environments, resiliency mitigation and preparation, interior design, higher education, technology, and high-end residential design. He’s also a yoga enthusiast and avid traveler.
One project that Jack is particularly proud of is a small outpatient and laboratory facility for New York Presbyterian Hospital (NYP) and Weill Cornell Medicine. The client group consisted of doctors, nurses, and clinicians dedicated to eliminating HIV as a serious condition in our society. As a community-based satellite for the NYP Center for Special Studies, this facility serves a marginalized population in a state-of-the-art environment.
To Jack, design is about finding aesthetically pleasing solutions to mundane problems—about using both sides of the brain. “If you discover that this is what makes you tick, there isn’t a better field in the world to pursue,” he says.
Outside of work, if Jack isn’t spending time with his family, he might be playing golf or walking his dog, Farfle.
