Weng On knows project delivery isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. With two decades of progressive experience and more than 14 years of experience in alternate project delivery, he knows that a project’s success lies in the partnerships between the client, the designer, the contractor, and other key stakeholders.
His projects have ranged from $30 million to $2.7 billion, from Texas to Alaska. Weng On’s alternate delivery experience includes public-private partnerships, design-build, construction manager/general contractor, and strategic partnerships. He’s currently working on the South Mountain Freeway design-build-maintain project as part of the Arizona Department of Transportation’s general engineering consultant team.
Active in his professional community, Weng On has given back through various Transportation Research Board committees as well as the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), where he has served at local and state levels. As a strong proponent of mentoring, he’s also served on NSPE’s Mentoring Task Force, mentoring young engineers.
