For the past two-years, Kelly has been building a mental health and research facility for a Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Statistically, there’s a greater need for mental health support for veterans, and this facility aims to meet those needs—with a truly beautiful space.
As an architect, Kelly has the chance to work on projects that truly make a difference in the community, taking design concepts through construction and coordinating between team members, clients, and contractors. Kelly believes that our architectural projects have the potential to transform the quality of life for end-users and she loves to contribute to that story. Taking the idea of what a place can be and making it into a reality is the best part of her job.
In the past year, Kelly has committed to her love of travel. She’s camped on the Persian Gulf, ran a half-marathon on the Great Wall of China, and spent two weeks hiking in New Zealand. In the future, she hopes to commit more of her time to community-minded projects.
