With 20 years of experience, Jason manages the materials testing services in our Winnipeg, Manitoba, geotechnical engineering practice, overseeing a diverse support team. As project manager and team lead, he prepares proposals and reports and continually pursues new work and project opportunities. Jason ensures that quality customer service is maintained through accurate and efficient deliverables
Jason’s expertise lies in construction materials testing, including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and inspection services such as concrete condition assessments. Recently, Jason and his team worked on the Manitoba Hydro Bipole III Keewatinohk Converter Station in northern Manitoba, a project involving quality control testing at a temporary concrete batch plant in support of a new, 500kV, high-voltage direct current transmission line that would link power generation from northern to southern Manitoba. Due to the remoteness of this project, Stantec was able to invest in a new certified 40-ft mobile lab trailer
Jason believes that you can never spend enough time with family. His daughter, Marissa, is four years old, already working hard on her skating and hockey lessons. Jason and his wife Michelle recently built their own skating rink in the back yard for Marissa to practice on.
