Canada’s first airport P3 project. It was an exciting opportunity, exciting enough to pull Warren away from running his own firm to join Stantec in 2011. Warren was initially contracted by Stantec to determine the proposed Iqaluit Airport’s eligibility for P3 Canada status. His strategic planning expertise ultimately helped to secure that eligibility, paving the way for the project to proceed to open competition.
Since that project, Warren has helped other airports—most recently Fort McMurray and Estevan Airports—manage their capacity and planning challenges. Warren recognizes the unique role airports play in serving their community and region, and how that relationship can influence everything from an airport’s key design features to its system of governance. He uses his significant experience in facilitation and support in strategic planning, governance and structure, business planning, and project management to create achievable and sustainable long term goals for his clients.
