Throughout his nearly 20 years with Stantec, Scott has always focused on providing excellent customer service.
His team is the front-facing IT support group interacting with our employees, and their job includes the technology side of acquisition system integrations, office moves, and all aspects of end user support. Another part of Scott’s job is overseeing the IT control requirements for our SOX program, maintaining our ISO 20000 certification, and responding to computer security incidents.
Most recently, Scott has worked on implementing a security incident response platform that will help manage and resolve security incidents. With the increase in cybersecurity threats, the new response system provides a coordinated process for responding to security events.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for weight lifting. Every morning you’ll find Scott at the gym at 5:30 am. Moving heavy weights not only transforms your physique, but it’s also a great way to manage the stress of daily life. Seeing the results of his time invigorates Scott and gets him ready for whatever the day may throw at him.
