As a specialist in the electrical equipment, control, and protection field, Olivier has been involved in key energy transmission, distribution, and substation projects. Whether it’s a wind farm project or a hydro-electricity generation project, he’s stepped up. One of his most rewarding projects included being part of a project team that was not only responsible for the design of a 100 MW wind farm substation but also responsible for supporting the construction team. This project presented many new challenges that Olivier was happy to take on.
Olivier started his career in the electrical industry working for a well-known manufacturer. This led to his involvement in several projects in the hospital, industrial, and commercial sectors, where he gained expertise in low voltage systems and design team management. He now works with key utility companies in Eastern Canada and has developed broad expertise on utility standards.
When he isn’t at work, you can find Olivier playing hockey, running, spending time with his family, and playing chess.
