Chris is passionate about labs. Having worked with institutions from national laboratories and major healthcare systems to notable state universities, Chris has spent the better part of his 20-year career programming and planning research labs related to life, natural, and physical sciences. In this time, he’s developed his expertise in engineering facility design and has become adept in planning flexible maker spaces and cleanrooms for those specialized environments.
A skilled facilitator, Chris works one-on-one with clients to better understand their spatial needs, using trends in research planning and design to provide opportunities for flexible, collaborative labs. He excels on projects with technically complex programs, where high-work productivity and adaptability intersects with comfortable, pleasing environments for researchers, instructors, and students.
When he’s not planning the next lab of the future, Chris enjoys running, coaching cross country, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and, more than anything else, spending time with his kids.
