Josh brings a wealth of knowledge to the team with experience in biological surveys and monitoring, as well as biological conservation and mitigation.
Josh was part of a team that recently refined mapping for greater sage-grouse habitats in relation to proposed mining activities. With this mapping, the team was able to create revised habitat shape files and reports to support NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) analysis for two major projects. These studies assisted in collaboration between agency representatives and proponents. Together, they developed effective conservation measures for this species.
The outdoors are a passion during Josh’s off hours as well. His wife is a veterinarian who supports his endeavors and shares his interests in animals and wildlife. As the Vice President of Nevada Bighorns Unlimited, he is as passionate about wildlife management outside of work as he is while on the clock.
