Jennifer believes that every space should make an impact, meet the client’s needs, and naturally draw the community together. She has over seven years of experience in project management working on park master plans, pedestrian improvement plans, playgrounds, and trail design—she works to create inclusive environments that tell stories through effective visual graphics.
In Bridgeport, Connecticut, Jennifer and her team (with extensive public outreach) designed the all-inclusive Beardsley Park playground. The park supports wheelchair users with handicap pathways leading to various play spaces, and the color palette is deliberately neutral to avoid over-stimulating children with autism. In this project, as in others, Jennifer crafted a dynamic space that improves the community’s quality of life and fulfills the City of Bridgeport’s needs.
On her own time, Jennifer is still an artist (in oils, watercolors, charcoal, and pastels), but she’s also a hiker, traveler, and reader. She grows veggies in her garden and loves to explore new ways to cook up unique dishes.
