As a designer, Dan looks at places in terms of what works and what doesn’t. From planning and designing to construction, he has worked on projects within the education, healthcare, commercial, and financial sectors.
Much of Dan’s project experience has been through an international lens, completing work in South America, the Caribbean, and the Canadian Artic. However, it’s his work on the $400M Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Francisco, is Dan’s highlight. He was responsible for the delivery of this complex facility while maintain firm milestones and complying with strict governmental regulations, dictated by the state health planning and development authority.
A combination of physical activity, ongoing personal growth, and involvement in community initiatives supports Dan’s goal of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. So it’s no surprise that his weekend activities include biking, hiking, and kayaking. As an optimist, he is a supporter of HOPE international.
