As the aviation engineering sector lead in Canada, Carl has a diverse role with a taste of everything that consulting engineering has to offer, including engineering, airfield design, team building, construction administration, field investigations, business development, and research. He believes that once you start in this profession, you just have to be open minded to be immersed in opportunity.
Carl’s desire to change the world and move mountains inspired his drive to become an engineer. With projects spanning nine countries, a few years ago, he finally did move a mountain for a transportation project in the Caribbean. Currently, he’s the airside lead working with his team on innovative solutions for challenging projects at various commercial and military airports.
When he’s not supervising or coaching his team, Carl likes to relax and get away from it all—camping, hiking and spending time at the beach with his family.
