Chris Baddock

Electrical Discipline Leader

Photo of Chris

Knowing the water sector is key to community safety and wellbeing, Chris is proud to be a part of our Water team. He enjoys the problem-solving nature of his job and is responsible for developing the electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation (EICA) discipline—providing EICA engineers with the tools they need to deliver local and global projects.

A focus on modernizing water assets drives Chris to improve environmental outcomes—goals like producing water more efficiently or turning wastewater treatment plants into zero-waste resource recovery facilities can help reduce the carbon impact of essential water services. Though Chris is based in our Christchurch office, his work extends internationally. He’s a part of innovative thermal hydrolysis projects in Kentucky and Washington, D.C. which are producing renewable natural gas, electricity, and fertilizer from wastewater.

Chris loves spending the weekends with his family, whether that’s a trip to the local playground or camping out of town.
